Learning Skills That Could Save A Life!

Ms. Joselyn Latimer’s Honors Anatomy & Physiology students put their studies into practice during a four-hour CPR/AED First Aid workshop offered by the American Heart Association.
During the hands-on training, students worked with instructor Dr. José Villalba to practice CPR for adults and infants, AED use, and essential first-aid techniques, including bandaging and tourniquet application. They also earned their two-year CPR/AED First Aid certification.

It’s another example of how our Secondary academic experience connects classroom studies with real-world situations.
