Small Boats, Big Engineering Challenges!

2nd graders put their creativity and problem-solving skills to the test during a Foil Boat STEM Challenge, designing and building boats using aluminum foil to see how much weight they could hold before sinking!
Along the way, students explored scientific concepts like buoyancy, density, and displacement, applying the Engineering Design Process to test their ideas, make adjustments, and improve their creations.

Impressive engineering for 2nd grade and a great example of how our students begin developing STEM skills early in their academic journey!
