Maratón Puertorriqueño de Lectura Week
A good story can spark imagination, invite discovery, and sometimes even bring students around a library campfire.
This week, as part of the Maratón Puertorriqueño de Lectura, students engaged with reading in different ways, including younger readers uncovering mystery books at a Fogata de Lectura and Spanish juniors analyzing the art of storytelling through microstories.
Because at SJS, reading isn’t just about turning pages. It’s about creating experiences that make students want to keep going.
Saint John’s School
Saint John’s School is a non-profit, college preparatory, nonsectarian, coeducational day school founded in 1915. The school, located in a residential area of Condado, in San Juan, Puerto Rico, has an enrollment of over 800 students from Toddler to grade twelve. Instruction is mostly in English with the exception of language courses.
