Honors Anatomy & Physiology UPR Medical Sciences Visit

The Honors Anatomy & Physiology students wrapped up the school year with a visit to the UPR Medical Sciences Campus.
They toured the state-of-the-art library, observed fully dissected cadavers at the Neurobiology & Anatomy Lab, and explored human anatomy through the Anatomage Table, an advanced touchscreen 3-D visualization system for anatomy education that uses real human cadaveric data for visual dissection.

The experience continued at the UPR School of Pharmacy with a presentation on the history of pharmacy in Puerto Rico and a visit to the Museum of Pharmacy and Medicinal Plants.

Opportunities like these provide students with a unique perspective on the interconnected fields of anatomy, medical sciences, and healthcare.
