Future Surgeons At Work!

Our 4th graders stepped into the operating room, rotating through hands-on “surgery” centers designed as mini labs for the respiratory, digestive, circulatory, and urinary systems.
At each station, they explored the structures of each system, used 3D models to visualize how the body works from the inside out, and conducted research to deepen their understanding. Through collaboration, curiosity, and critical thinking, students discovered how the systems work together to keep the human body functioning.

Another example of learning at SJS, where curiosity leads and students take ownership of the process. Science is not just studied. It is experienced in Upper Elementary.
