Summer Program

The Summer Program at Saint John's School fosters a continuous learning process through innovative, creative, and unforgettable experiences. Our enthusiastic faculty members provide enriching activities for strengthening skills in various core and specialty subject areas.

  • Early Childhood Summer Program (PPK-2nd)

    Our Summer Program offers:
    • Art Discovery
    • Reading Time
    • Fine and Gross Motor Skill Activities
    • Rhythm and Movement
    • Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and, Math (STEAM) Blocks
    • Swimming Lessons
    • Fun Friday Activities
    • Field Trips (1st grade and up)
    Note: Session availability will be based on enrollment, and a full refund will be issued if a course does not meet the minimum quorum.
  • Upper Elementary Summer Program (3rd-6th)

    Our Summer Program offers:
    • Art / Wood Working
    • Athletic Sessions (swimming, volleyball, basketball, indoor soccer, martial arts)  
    • Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics (STEAM) Blocks
    • Field Trips
    • Sailing School (Ages 8-11)   
        • Limited Spaces 
        • Weekly Program, may choose to participate in the Full Month Program
        • $450 per week
        • Includes transportation to Roosevelt Roads Marling Sailing School, lunch, and snacks.
      Note: Session availability will be based on enrollment, and a full refund will be issued if a course does not meet the minimum quorum.
    • Secondary Summer Program (7th-12th)

      The Secondary Summer Program at Saint John's will include enrichment and preparatory courses in specific areas.
       
      These courses are also available for non-Saint John's School students. All students will receive a portfolio upon completion of the course, including curriculum, pre, and post-course evaluations, and assessment results. 
      • Enrichment Courses 
        • Foundations of AP Science Courses and Lab workshops. Preparing for an AP course. 
        • Foundations of AP History Courses. Preparing for an AP course. 
        • Creative Writing (7th and 8th grade, Secondary Level) 
        • English Immersion Program (for Spanish as a First Language Students)
        • Spanish Immersion Program (for English as a First language students)
        • Math Reinforcement (7th-8th grade)
        • Upper-Level Math Reinforcement (9th-12th)
      • Creative and Recreational Workshops

          • Marine Science
          • Sailing School at Roosevelt Roads facilities in Ceiba
          • Plastic Arts/Music/Theater/Costume Design

      Saint John’s School

      Saint John’s School is a non-profit, college preparatory, nonsectarian, coeducational day school founded in 1915. The school, located in a residential area of Condado, in San Juan, Puerto Rico, has an enrollment of over 800 students from pre pre-kinder to grade twelve. Instruction is mostly in English with the exception of language courses.
