2nd Place at SJS 4th Intercollegiate Elementary Math Competition

Thirteen schools joined us for our 4th Intercollegiate Elementary Math Competition on March 15th, where 4th-6th graders showcased their mathematical skills! We are immensely proud of our students for achieving 2nd Place Overall. KUDOS to Sebastian Borschow ’30, Jack Kodesh ’32, and Arthur Oudin ’31!

Crafted and scored by 3 professors from the University of Puerto Rico, the competition pushed boundaries with challenging math problems, igniting the passion for numbers in the students! Their enthusiasm and skill were palpable as they embraced the challenge.

Not only did our Elementary Mathletes achieve 2nd Place Overall, but Jack Kodesh placed 3rd in the 4th-grade individual category, and Sebastian Borschow 2nd in the 6th grade.

Congratulations to all participants. A heartfelt thank you goes out to our dedicated math teachers, volunteers, and judges for their support throughout the competition!
