Carlos Rodríguez ('24) Represents Puerto Rico and Wins Silver Medal in OMCC

The Olimpiada de Matemáticas de Centroamérica y el Caribe, OMCC, was held this past week virtually from Colombia. Twelve countries from Latin America and the Caribbean competed with 4 participants per country. In the picture, you can see the Puerto Rico team. Carlos Rodríguez ('24) was one of the members representing Puerto Rico and the highest scorer for the team. He was also the 5th highest scorer in the competition and received a silver medal. The Puerto Rico team achieved 2 silver medals and 2 honorable mentions.

Saint John’s School

Saint John’s School is a non-profit, college preparatory, nonsectarian, coeducational day school founded in 1915. The school, located in a residential area of Condado, in San Juan, Puerto Rico, has an enrollment of over 800 students from pre pre-kinder to grade twelve. Instruction is mostly in English with the exception of language courses.
