Tourism Cares Presents Be a Bee Initiative

The Be a Bee Initiative was invited to present their project at the Tourism Cares Social Enterprise Connector Summit in Puerto Rico. 10th graders, Isabelle Ramseyer, Paola Pimentel & Karla González presented the project during the session of social enterprise, local innovation, and entrepreneurs from Puerto Rico. At the summit, our students described the initiative, the work done since inception one year ago and the goals of the initiative to government representatives, leaders in the industry and over 200 representatives from the USA and Puerto Rico. It was a success and the team was able to showcase the Be a Bee products, where all proceeds benefit the Saint John’s School Scholarship Fund.

Tourism Cares together with the Clinton Global Initiative are committed to small and social enterprises in Puerto Rico. Saint John’s was proud to be invited to present the Be a Bee Initiative in the Summit of Social and Environmental Impact.
