Upper Elementary PE Striking Unit Lesson

Learning something new came into play in Upper Elementary P.E.
Our 5th and 6th graders are developing striking skills, learning how to make controlled contact with an object using implements such as rackets or bats. These fundamentals support sports like tennis, badminton, and baseball. In this lesson, students applied those techniques on the tennis court. With rackets in hand, they practiced control, timing, and keeping the ball balanced on the center of the strings before putting their progress to the test in short matches.

Upper Elementary P.E. develops coordination, focus, teamwork, and confidence through active skill-building and real gameplay.
