Celebrating our Awarded Teacher
We are proud to celebrate our Spanish teacher and 9th-grade Class Dean, Ms. Mercedes Benito, whose novel ‘De nadie más’ has been awarded the Premio Nacional de Novela 2025 by the PEN Club de Puerto Rico Internacional.
Recognized for its literary quality, originality, structure, and cultural impact, her work now stands among voices shaping Puerto Rican literature and championing the freedom of expression across a global community of writers in more than 100 countries.

Saint John’s School
Saint John’s School is a non-profit, college preparatory, nonsectarian, coeducational day school founded in 1915. The school, located in a residential area of Condado, in San Juan, Puerto Rico, has an enrollment of over 800 students from Toddler to grade twelve. Instruction is mostly in English with the exception of language courses.
