As part of our Earth Month celebrations, secondary students had the opportunity to hear from Ada Monzón—Puerto Rico’s first female meteorologist, WAPA TV’s chief meteorologist, and founder of EcoExploratorio: Science Museum of Puerto Rico.
Her talk, Climate Change: The Latest, offered a powerful look at the risks and impacts we face—and the actions we must take.
Thank you, Ms. Monzón, for inspiring the next generation of scientists, advocates, and changemakers.
Special recognition to the EcoEscuela Club—led by Paola Ortiz (’26) and Ms. Lya Rivera—Ms. Zoraima Figueroa and our Student Council, with advisor Mr. Michael Mancuso, for making this event possible.
