This past weekend, 68 Hurricanes from Grades 5–12 took the stage — and the backstage — and made Mean Girls High School Version a show to remember.
Under the direction of Marian Pabón and choreography by Ivana Méndez, our students rocked their roles as cast, feature cast, ensemble, and backstage crew. From standout performances to running stage management, sound, hair, makeup, costumes, props, and marketing — it was a full Hurricane production from start to finish. Every quick change, every spotlight cue, and every onstage moment was a masterclass in creativity, teamwork, and heart.
A huge shoutout to the creative team, the band and chorus supporting Ms. Pabón and Ms. Méndez, and a special thanks to our Performing Arts faculty, parent and teacher volunteers, and our school community for making the auditorium the place to be.
At SJS, the arts take center stage — and always earn a standing ovation.
