Pi Day at SJS is more than just a date—it’s a celebration of numbers, logic, and endless possibilities! What better way to honor math’s most famous constant than by welcoming 11 schools to our 5th Annual Math Bowl for an epic, high-energy competition!
Young mathletes from grades 4 to 6 put their problem-solving skills to the test, tackling tough equations and proving that math isn’t just about numbers—it’s about strategy, teamwork, and quick thinking!
Congratulations to our Hurricanes for securing 2nd place overall! Special recognition goes to Pablo Hymovitz (‘32) for taking 1st place in his category—way to go!
Thank you to Dr. Omar Hernández, Dra. Ana Helvia Quintero and Dr. Luis A. Medina, our judges from Universidad de Puerto Rico, for crafting and grading the questions and for everyone who made the event a success!
