AP African American Studies in Action!

As the first school in Puerto Rico offering the AP African American Studies course, we were honored to welcome the College Board last school year as they explored our course in action through a special video feature.
In this groundbreaking, interdisciplinary class, our students delve into African civilizations' roots and African Americans' legacy in shaping culture, justice, and equality. They bring these lessons closer to home by connecting global themes to Puerto Rico’s cultural and historical context, exploring shared stories of identity, resistance, and resilience that make the course globally informed and locally grounded.
