Once Upon a Classroom Stage…

Our 3rd-grade performers reimagined the Puerto Rican classic El Plumaje del Múcaro, putting their own spin on it with feathers, flair, and a whole lot of heart.

Their performance was enchanting—bringing to life our dear endemic coquí, dazzling native birds, and even a surprise appearance by iguanas visiting all the way from El Salvador. They didn’t just tell the story—they became it. Our young artists wrote the script, embodied the characters, and transformed the stage into a living rainforest on a magical journey.

Let’s take a bow to our young creators. Bravo! This is what storytelling is all about. Click here for a recap.

At Saint John’s School, we nurture creativity, confidence, cultural appreciation, and the power of self-expression—from the earliest grades.
