A Dairy Farm Adventure for our 2nd Graders

Our second graders experienced a day in the life of a dairy farmer during their visit to Martínez Dairy Farm in Vega Baja. They fed the cows, explored the milking process, and gained a deeper appreciation for the dedication it takes to bring milk to our tables.

This hands-on experience helped them connect with nature, understand hard work, and see the science behind everyday essentials.

These immersive experiences foster curiosity, deepen understanding, and create lasting memories—just one of the many ways we inspire young minds at SJS.

Thank you to the farm staff for welcoming our students and showing them the dedication behind every glass of milk!
