Honors Anatomy & Physiology students welcomed Dr. Elena Jiménez, ophthalmologist and school parent, for a hands-on exploration of the eye and how vision actually works.
Through an engaging and interactive session, students developed a clear understanding of eye anatomy while examining conditions, treatments, and prevention methods within a real medical context. Using specialized equipment, they observed the fundus of the eye firsthand, bringing textbook knowledge to life in a way no diagram ever could.
When experts step into our classrooms, learning becomes purposeful and relevant, preparing students to think critically and envision what is possible for their future.
