She Did It—and Made History!

Congratulations to Mardi Roques (’26)—officially elected Vice President of Membership for the 2025–2026 National Association of Student Councils! We’re beyond proud of this Hurricane game-changer, whose leadership, vision, and voice just earned Puerto Rico a seat at the national table.

She’s also made history as the first student from Puerto Rico ever elected as an officer to the National Student Council—a well-deserved achievement that not only reflects her leadership but also the strong student voice coming from our school and community.

Mardi’s win brings meaningful representation to NASC-affiliated schools across Puerto Rico. It marks an exciting milestone for our school, students, and the island, proving that when Hurricanes lead, they lead with purpose.

Thank you to all the schools who voted and believed in her message—this victory is for all of us.
