Congrats to our Poetry Out Loud Semifinalist!

María Mercedes Méndez Cruz's ('27) powerful poetry recitations secured her place in the upcoming finals for this year's Poetry Out Loud state competition!
She will compete against other schools from all over the island on MAR 7 for the honor of representing Puerto Rico in the national championship in Washington, D.C.

Opportunities like these showcase the enriching academic and artistic experiences that make Saint John's School a place where students grow as confident, creative thinkers.

Best of luck in the finals, María—we are so proud of you!
