Hurricanes in Action: Community Service Day!

Our Secondary students stepped up to serve, turning dedication into action! Each grade took on a meaningful project, bringing energy, kindness, and hands-on support to different organizations across the island.

  • 7th grade sparked creativity and movement with art, dance, and sports activities at Academia Bautista Sotero Sánchez & Escuela Especializada Bilingüe Francisco "Paco" Dávila.
  • 8th grade lent a helping hand at El Comedor de la Kennedy, assembling food donations for families in need.
  • 9th grade showed love for animals at the Caribbean Manatee Conservation Center & Centro de Protección de Animales de San Juan.
  • 10th grade spread out across multiple locations, from community cleanups with Caras con Causa to tutoring and reading to elders at Centros Sor Isolina Ferré in Cupey, archiving history at Fundación Luis Muñoz Marín, and additional community activities at Escuela María Inés de Mendoza.
  • 11th grade made an impact at Banco de Alimentos, packing food boxes for distribution.
  • 12th grade spent time with seniors at Comunidad del Retiro, sharing games, Zumba, and laughter.
Service is at the heart of who we are.  Thank you, Hurricanes, for making a difference!
