Hurricanes Make History!

Our Varsity and Junior Varsity teams excelled at the Puerto Rico History Bee and Bowl, held at Universidad del Sagrado Corazón, securing their spots at the national competition in Washington, D.C., this April.

But the victories didn't stop there—our Varsity team was the winner, going undefeated in all seven rounds and earning a place at the International History Olympiad in Paris this June!

A special shoutout to Wyatt Wunker ('25), who won the History Bee and qualified for national and international competitions.

Congratulations to our Varsity and Junior Varsity team members for their outstanding performance: Luis Cordero ('25), Wyatt Wunker ('25), Cecilia Rodríguez ('26), Anayah Ignacio ('26), Cyrus Wunker ('26), Adam Mukhtar ('29), Elsa Besser ('29), Filip Nikolic ('29), and Monty Wunker ('29). Your dedication and teamwork continue to make us proud and showcase the quality of education at SJS.

Thank you to our History teachers for inspiring curiosity, critical thinking, and a passion for learning that drives our students to success.
