We are incredibly proud that our Seniors Jerry Chen ('24) and Carlos Rodriguez ('24) were selected for the 4-student delegation team representing Puerto Rico at the 64th edition of the International Mathematics Olympiad (IMO 2023) in Chiba, Japan, which took place in July!
The IMO is a prestigious math competition where top enthusiasts worldwide gather to solve challenging problems over two days. SJS is the only school with two spots on the 2023 4-student Puerto Rico delegation team.
This year, 618 participants from 112 countries attended.
Congratulations to Jerry and Carlos on this fantastic achievement. Their remarkable talents, dedication, passion, and pride in representing our island make us #sjsproud
Jerry and Carlos are not just ambassadors for SJS but for Puerto Rico's entire math community, and their journey inspires us all!
