Presenting Puerto Rico's Poetry Out Loud Champion!

Let's hear it for our talented SJS Poetry Out Loud Champion, Amir Trinidad Vidal ('24), who wowed the judges and secured first place in the Poetry Out Loud Puerto Rico finals on March 10, 2023, at the Teatro Francisco Arriví!

His captivating performance was a true masterpiece, earning him the honor of representing Puerto Rico and our school at the prestigious National Poetry Out Loud competition in Washington, D.C., from May 8th-10th. Amir's outstanding achievement is a testament to his hard work, passion, and talent. We're incredibly proud of him and wish him all the best in the upcoming national competition. Bravo, Amir! 


Saint John’s School

Saint John’s School is a non-profit, college preparatory, nonsectarian, coeducational day school founded in 1915. The school, located in a residential area of Condado, in San Juan, Puerto Rico, has an enrollment of over 800 students from pre pre-kinder to grade twelve. Instruction is mostly in English with the exception of language courses.
