10th grader, Diego Saavedra our Spectacular Golfer

Diego Saavedra had an incredible year in his participation with the Puerto Rico Golf Association. As a juvenile golf star, he is being given the opportunity to participate in a World Cup event to close his season of 2018 playing with the best in the world at the youth level. Here is a brief summary of his year:

Toyota Junior World Qualifier: Top 5 in the Americas region.
Junior Island Championship: Top 3 of the Island
PRGA Championship (open for all amateur on the island): Top 5 of 85 players
Caribbean Junior Golf Championships: 1st place in category 15 & Under
Caribbean Amateur Golf Championships: (Youngest player to be part of the adult PR team): Top 10 finish

Diego has had multiple rounds with markers below 70's.

We are extremely proud of his hard work and dedication to this sport and wish him luck in the World Cup event.

Saint John’s School

Saint John’s School is a non-profit, college preparatory, nonsectarian, coeducational day school founded in 1915. The school, located in a residential area of Condado, in San Juan, Puerto Rico, has an enrollment of over 800 students from pre pre-kinder to grade twelve. Instruction is mostly in English with the exception of language courses.
