Elementary School Teachers

  • A graduate degree is strongly desired in the subject area, curriculum, area of expertise, or other related subjects.
  • At least three (3) years of successful teaching experience working with adolescent students, ideally in a private or independent school setting.
  • Expertise in the content area and working knowledge of resources and materials for the subject.
  • A teaching certificate or ability to become certified is strongly desired.
  • Must be able to speak and teach in fluent English, with strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Experienced and versed in the use of instructional technology.
  • Tireless commitment to work with diverse learners and achieve high standards.
  • Willingness to commit and become an active participant in school life, including taking over as advisor of student organizations.

Saint John’s School

Saint John’s School is a non-profit, college preparatory, nonsectarian, coeducational day school founded in 1915. The school, located in a residential area of Condado, in San Juan, Puerto Rico, has an enrollment of over 800 students from pre pre-kinder to grade twelve. Instruction is mostly in English with the exception of language courses.
