Physical Education

  • Physical Ed 7

    Students in grade 7 take physical education (PE) class every day. This program focuses on the physical development and well-being of students through a comprehensive program of physical education, health education, intramural activities, and inter-scholastic athletics. Development of self-control, teamwork, reliability and honesty are given as much priority as physical conditioning and talent.
  • Physical Ed 8

    Students in grade 8 take physical education (PE) class every day. This program focuses on the physical development and well-being of students through a comprehensive program of physical education, health education, intramural activities, and inter-scholastic athletics. Development of self-control, teamwork, reliability and honesty are given as much priority as physical conditioning and talent.
  • Physical Ed 9

    Students are introduced to strength training and conditioning following the principles of training and guidelines established by the National Strength and Conditioning Association. The Fitness Gram program of measurement and evaluation is used for exercise prescription. Motor skill and sport skill development are addressed with appropriate developmental exercises.
Saint John’s School is a non-profit, college preparatory, nonsectarian, coeducational day school founded in 1915. The school, located in a residential area of Condado, in San Juan, Puerto Rico, has an enrollment of over 800 students from Toddler to grade twelve. Instruction is mostly in English with the exception of language courses.
