Three Silver Medals for SJS at International Mathematical Olympiad

The International Mathematical Olympiad (COmpetencia de MATemáticas por EQuipos) was held last Saturday with participating teams from Colombia, Costa Rica, Honduras, El Salvador, Venezuela and Puerto Rico. Twenty teams from private and public schools in Puerto Rico participated in the event. University professors and graduate students from the Science and Mathematics Department of the University of Puerto Rico, Mayaguez Campus helped to organize this international event. 

Three Saint John's School students were awarded silver medals! We congratulate Wyatt Wunker, Carlos Rodríguez, and Jerry Chen for this achievement. We salute the whole SJS team, including teachers and coaches, for their outstanding participation.

Saint John’s School

Saint John’s School is a non-profit, college preparatory, nonsectarian, coeducational day school founded in 1915. The school, located in a residential area of Condado, in San Juan, Puerto Rico, has an enrollment of over 800 students from pre pre-kinder to grade twelve. Instruction is mostly in English with the exception of language courses.
