11th Grader, Edward Wan, IMO and APMO Gold Medalist

We are extremely proud of 11th grader, Edward Wan, for his incredible achievements this summer. He showed outstanding represention for the USA, Puerto Rico, and Saint John's School.

Edward attended the 2019 IMO (International Math Olympiad) in Bath, UK and won an individual gold medal representing USA. The US Team tied for first place in the world with China. In addition, he also won the 2019 APMO (Asia Pacific Math Olympiad) with the highest score in the USA for the second year in a row, thus winning the only gold medal of the US -- there is only one gold medal per country awarded to the top scoring student -- see the results here , and helped the US team win 2nd place in the world.

Congratulations to Edward, to his teachers, and to his proud family!
