Congratulations to Edward Wan for his Incredible Math Accolades!

Congratulations to Edward Wan (‘21) who won the USA Math Olympiad as one of the top 12 winners for the second year in a row. Mr. Luis Valentin joined him in Washington DC as he accepted his award.

In addition, Edward made the 2019 USA IMO (International Math Olympiad) Team as one of the top 6 high school math students in the nation. He is going to Bath, UK to compete in the 2019 IMO, representing USA. We are extremely proud of Edward’s hard work and dedication to mathematics.

Saint John’s School is a non-profit, college preparatory, nonsectarian, coeducational day school founded in 1915. The school, located in a residential area of Condado, in San Juan, Puerto Rico, has an enrollment of over 800 students from pre pre-kinder to grade twelve. Instruction is mostly in English with the exception of language courses.
