10th Grader, Isaac Torres, Competing at the Olimpiada Centroamericana y del Caribe de Física

Congratulations to 10th grader, Isaac Torres, who was chosen to be the only representative from Puerto Rico at the Olimpiada Centroamericana y del Caribe de Física, in Havana, Cuba this coming June. He will be competing under the guidance of Dr. Hector Jimenez from the UPR Mayaguez. According to Dr. Jimenez, Saint John's School students are always considered an asset for the international competitive teams in Physics due to our strong science program. The Science Department and the entire SJS community congratulates Isaac and wishes him the best of luck in Havana.

Saint John’s School

Saint John’s School is a non-profit, college preparatory, nonsectarian, coeducational day school founded in 1915. The school, located in a residential area of Condado, in San Juan, Puerto Rico, has an enrollment of over 800 students from pre pre-kinder to grade twelve. Instruction is mostly in English with the exception of language courses.
