9th Grader, Gia Mar Ramos- NCWIT Award for Aspirations in Computing (AiC) National Winner

Congratulations to 9th Grader Gia Mar Ramos, for being one of the NCWIT Award for Aspirations in Computing (AiC) National Winners, an award to encourage high school women to pursue their passions in technology. This prestigious honor recognizes women in grades 9 through 12 for their proven leadership ability and involvement in technology, robotics and applied science, along with their academic success and plans for post-secondary education. Gia was one of 41 winners out of 3,600 applicants. She will be honored at a Bank of America Technology Stars of the Future Showcase & Awards Ceremony in Charlotte, North Carolina. We are extremely proud!

Saint John’s School is a non-profit, college preparatory, nonsectarian, coeducational day school founded in 1915. The school, located in a residential area of Condado, in San Juan, Puerto Rico, has an enrollment of over 800 students from pre pre-kinder to grade twelve. Instruction is mostly in English with the exception of language courses.
