Kudos to 10th Grader Sarah Cabré, 2nd Grader Adrian Negron & 9th Graders Sophie Termaat and Ana González

This past weekend the Puerto Rico Swimming Federation, Federación Puertorriqueña de Natación, hosted its 2016 Short Course Championships at the San Juan Natatorium. Second Grader, Adrian Negron won the bronze medal in 50m Freestyle for his category. SJS’s sophomore Sarah Cabré and fresh(wo)men Sophie Termaat and Ana González had an outstanding performance. With a loaded program of events that had them compete in up to 9 individual events and 2 relays over the 3 day meet, all of them had personal best times in almost all of their events. Sarah was the top scorer of the Championships for the girl’s 13-14 years old category with 113 points. This bodes well for our girl’s swimming team as the PRHSAA’s swimming season gets under way this Friday at 3:00 p.m. in the San Juan Natatorium.
