SJS 44th Annual Science Bowl Competition

Our school hosted its 44th Annual Science Bowl competition. We're incredibly proud of our Science Team, made up of Malena Torres ('24), Jerry Chen ('24), Luca La Rosa ('23), and Rafael Pagán ('23), who placed third out of fifteen schools-well-done CANES!

We congratulate Colegio Católico Notre Dame for taking home the first-place trophy and TASIS Dorado for coming in second.

Shoutout to our Science Team coach, Ms. Joselyn Latimer, for all her hard work. Thank you to the University of Puerto Rico judges, Dr. Ratnakar Palai, Dr. Michelle Borrero, and Dr. Ramonita Diaz, and our excellent teachers, staff, students, and especially our Science Department Chair, Ms. Lyaned Rivera, for making this event a success.

We are grateful to all the students and coaches who participated and made the competition exciting.
